About Me

Welcome to my healing community. I am Katrina Chantae' founder of Purposeful Healing. This community was birth from my emotional journey and experiences of growing up as a motherless child and repeated unhealthy cycles as an adult. You will be the first readers and hearers of how I lived a fairly productive life to those on the outside, but in reality, I was a woman who never grew from the abandoned 2-month-old baby who longed for the touch, smile, words, and cheers from one special person. MY MOM. Everything I would ever know or want to hear had to come from 3rd party information that I did not receive. As a result, it effected how I showed up in relationships and caused me often to be emotional unavailable or labile.  Through years of counseling, seeking and searching through prayers and God's guidance, I finally began the journey of healing and self-discovery. I began to truly take control of my emotions, learned how to love me, and began to create the most beautiful relationship with my MOM I lost 41 years ago.  Yes, she is now with me and will continue to be a part of my life as our share with you through this healing community.
